Happy Family

My parents are great and love me so much! How lucky am I to have fallen into such a loving family. Here they are admiring me in the hospital. It's amazing to think just hours before I was in my mama's belly waiting to make my debut. Now here I am in my mama's arms making my parents so happy and in awe of the miracle of birth.

My Debut

I'm here - three days before my due date! I arrived on September 22, 2008 at 1:51pm, weighing 7lbs 9oz and 20.5 inches long. The best anniversary present my parents could have asked for. Good thing they celebrated the night before! Also, not bad timing considering mom's last day of work was the Friday before. At least I gave her the weekend off...

My story: At 5am my mama knew I was going to arrive and woke up my dad. They anxiously left for the hospital two hours later. Thanks to the express lanes and carpool, the drive to the hospital was relatively quick since it was during rush hour traffic after all. Once at the hospital they quickly got my mom a room and I made my debut 5 hours later. My mom was a champion and my dad helped support her the entire time. They made a great team!

Bachelor Pad Complete

After lots of hard work, mom and dad have completed my pad. Thanks to the generosity of their family and friends, I have a sweet pad stocked with all the right stuff to call my own. All that's missing is me!

Big Day for Mama

Along with my promotion to manager comes the responsibility of signing tax returns as the paid preparer. This is a pretty big deal for me as it symbolizes my new role with greater responsibility, especially now with the hefty paid preparer penalties that have been established. Well, today I officially signed my first return as paid preparer and just had to document the historic event!
