Baby Portraits

Henry Tennyson Ross - 3 months old! He is growing so fast we just had to capture his current cuteness. Henry is all smiles now with a bit of drool mixed in there. He babbles all day long and mimics noises daddy and mommy make. He still enjoys sticking his tongue out at us and has become an expert at blowing bubbles. He loves having his diaper changed because his favorite toy above the changing table swings and play songs which leads him to smile big toothless grins and constantly coo back at it. His playmat has been getting a lot of use now that he is able to reach out and grab at the toys dangling in front of him. He constantly has his fists in his mouth (now that he's found them!) and enjoys chewing on his thumb and index finger, too. We enjoy singing nonsense songs to him, reading books to him and telling him our own make-believe stories. He is absolutely adorable, such a gem, and we love him so much!

Henry's First Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We had a full house last night and this morning celebrating Christmas with our families and eating wonderful food. It was great to see everyone and I'm sure they all loved to see Henry, too. He's quite the charmer =)

Winter Wallop 2008

It is officially here! The biggest snow storm Brad and I can remember in a very long time. We have about 6 inches of snow, which in relative terms is not very much snow, but for Seattle it's quite a show. We decided to go out and play in the snow for a bit around midnight. The dogs had fun running around the yard and I made my first snow angel since college. We had a great time!

Santa and Henry's new trick!

We took Henry to see Santa at Bellevue Square Mall on Tuesday. There was no one in line, so Santa let us take some personal photos next to the reindeer!

Santa Ross

Santa made an early appearance at the Ross house this year. He was just too excited to meet Henry =)

Our favorite Christmas present under the tree...Henry! Got to love his shirt..."Peas on Earth, but not on my plate"

Trip to NYC

We had a wonderful time in New York visiting our friends and family. Henry was such a trooper on the plane and barely made a peep. He adjusted well to the time change and slept really well each night. He was in good spirits for the majority of the trip despite being a bit under the weather (both Brad and Henry weren't feeling 100%).

While in New York, Henry met his Great Great uncle Ted and aunt Goldie (yes, that's two Greats!), Great Great Aunt Grace and cousins Donna & Chris along with their daughter Laura. Henry also met our friend Michelle for the first time too! Thank you, thank you, thank you to Ted & Goldie for opening up your home to us, treating us like royalty, spoiling us with fantastic food (or rather, feasts) and wine, entertaining us with great stories and for being the most wonderful hosts that I can only hope to aspire to someday. Thank you to Donna and Chris for the excellent Sunday meal and great conversations. And to our favorite (and cheapest) tour guide, Michelle, thanks for spending your Saturday with us and showing us the lovely NYC. We had a fantastic trip!

I have many, many photos to share but will only post the highlights. Check out my facebook page for the whole album.

Showing off for the Smedman's - relationship to Henry would be first cousins twice removed (Donna and Chris) and second cousins once removed (Laura) -- isn't that crazy!!!
